The articles in this Community are about the struggles in our life—going through them, and then slowly—coming back. They are about how we have made it to this point through our addiction and/or battle over whatever brought you to recovery.
They are about suffering though an addiction, disease, mental illness—anything—that has taken a part of our life away and that we have reclaimed and/or are now reclaiming back.
Being 'out there' is horrible. Suffering is awful. Recovery is a constant battle. But starting over again from scratch is the toughest of all. The reward is that we are here—now—reading this. We are alive. One day at a time.
There are two webrings associated with this Community. The first is a webring that encompasses all forms of addictions, afflictions and the journey back. The other is a Webring that is for members of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous ). It is for alcoholics only - or - people who have spent a good deal of their time in the rooms of AA.
